ABOUT
Davi Fantino, or Peixe. Coach since 2014, and climber since 2001. During all this time I dedicated myself, relentless, to climb and learning about the sport. To improve, I traveled the world to as many climbing peaks I could to experience the challenges involved. I invested a lot in technical knowledge. Made courses with Eva Lopez, Patxi Usobiaga and Leninha Ferragut. Participated in international competition guided by the Gimme Kraft coaches, Dicki and Patrick, and had the opportunity to train with some of the best climbers in the world such as Alex Megos. I observed some of the best close by, and learned from them. My mission is to unite my experience and my philosophy, so I can pass it on.
ATHLETE'S PASSION
Once at my highest performance level, I never felt so limited. Unstable shoulders, tendinitis in almost every finger, weak lumbar muscles; result of misguided trainings, lack of proper methodology and lack of experience. To think that at my best moment, the future seemed a dead-end, a hall of pain, a road that only would lead downward, was, to say the least, nerve-racking. It took me some years: research, study, experience exchange. Trips and more trips, investment, dedication and analysis. Everything to unveil the keys to maximum performance. my approach... What if I proposed you a smart training: smart training? Lets make some campus, fingerboard, a lot of moves in the overhang wall. Or maybe some rings exercises, a good antagonist routine, a good Cross Training workout. We can even add some running exercise to burst our endurance. It seems we found the magic formula, the perfect "standardized training" for anyone and everyone. Smart training, each person is different. It seems obvious, but smart is not "standard". Your training has to be yours, it has to consider your fragilities and weaknesses, it has to consider your strenghts. Smart training is to know where you wanna get.
